Major Achievements

ASC, with the support and encouragement of Share and Care has achieved the following:

A number of youth and community members including women have become computer literate.
ASC established and manages a graduate degree college with 79 students affiliated to the Tribhuvan University, Nepal
Registration as an NGO as "A School for Community Movement"
A website of ASC, a pioneer venture in Nepal has been developed. It was recognized by the Association of Journalists and given an award.
Community outreach and development activities including mobilization of women's farmers groups, FCHV and TBA.
Community resource centre has been established and the community training centre has been recognized by the government.
The Centre is awarded a grant from the Department of Education to cover administrative and staff expenses.
4000 community members joined together to participate in the celebration of the partnership between ASC and SCN and inaugurate the new campus building.
ASC publishes a quarterly newsletter.
