The Involvement of Share and Care
Share and Care Nepal played the focal role in envisioning and facilitating the process of formation of ASC. Strengthening the capacity of the community was a long and involved process. Now the role of Share and Care in the growth of ASC has changed from a nurturing to a supportive parent. At the early stages the ASC required constant support, capacity strengthening, guidance and direction. As ASC developed confidence, competence in management, tapping resources and became financially sustainable Share and Care has continued external support with equipment, infrastructure and decreased its active involvement. Vision To work towards an enlightened and interdependent community who can effectively address emerging issues related to their development demonstrating ability to tap resources and enhance the quality of life. Mission Increase knowledge base of participants and widen their life perspective to make appropriate choices |
