Broad Strategy for Replication SC in Other Districts

Share and Care has ongoing integrated community based programs in other Districts. We plan to adopt the following working strategy.

Community sensitization and awareness on the value of community learning
Identification of community groups such as women's group, youth club, teachers and students interested in community learning.
Exposure visits of selected community members to ASC in Pharping for first hand observation of its functioning
Members of ASC Pharping visit the district and share experiences and ideas for establishing School for Community.
Formation of a committee with members of SCN, ASC Pharping and the community who will guide the process of ASC formation in the District.
Equipping selected community members and groups for establishment of ASC in the District
Formation and registration of ASC in the District.
Ongoing support from Share and Care Nepal.

While the broad strategy would be the same, the process would differ according to the level of interest shown by the community, participation of community groups, capacity of the community members and other factors.
